Small teams, based in the districts they serve, doing work that is measured by what stays behind after a project closes. If that sounds like the job you want, tell us what you do.

Our values are how we choose partners, hire staff and decide what to refuse. Four of them do most of the work in a recruitment decision.
We report what actually happened, including the parts that did not work. Anyone who needs every project to look like a success is not a good fit here.
To the communities we serve first, and to the partners who fund the work second. That order decides how arguments get settled.
We conduct our activities without regard to colour, clan or religion. Need decides who we serve, and nothing else does.
Self-reliance is the exit condition. Roles here are judged partly on what colleagues can do after you have gone.
When we are recruiting, open roles appear on this page. There are none listed today.
That does not mean we are not interested. Teams here are small and roles open at short notice when a project is funded, so it is worth telling us what you do before a vacancy exists.
Most of our roles are based in the districts where we work: Afmadow and Dhobley in Lower Juba, Marka and Kurtunwarey in Lower Shabelle. We also have an office in Kenya, and child protection work has run in Mogadishu and Baidoa.
A large part of our work brings staff into contact with children and with survivors of gender-based violence. Recruitment is treated accordingly.
Raising a concern honestly will never count against you here, whether you work for us or not.
