Cash plus agricultural input distribution
How BADEF combines cash transfers with agricultural inputs to address acute food shortage and build resilience in Lower Shabelle.

BADEF’s food security and livelihoods programmes are primarily aimed at addressing acute food shortage and building resilience among communities across Somalia.
In partnership with organizations like FAO and USAID, we create impact through undertaking interventions that focus on providing emergency livelihood assistance to rural populations in the country.
In pursuit of improving food security and livelihoods of the underprivileged in Somalia, we have implemented various cash and agricultural input distribution programs in Marka and Kurtunwarey in Lower Shabelle region.
